Economic and financial model for electric bus implementation

This dataset presents an economic and financial model for the implementation of electric buses in Chile. Developed to assess the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and the financial feasibility of transitioning from diesel to electric buses, the dataset includes:

  • Operational and capital expenditures (OPEX & CAPEX) for different fleet scenarios

  • Economic & financial evaluations of bus fleet investment strategies

  • Fuel & maintenance cost comparisons between diesel and electric bus fleets

  • Social and environmental cost-benefit assessments

  • Projections for fleet operation and infrastructure investments

The model is structured into multiple evaluations, including economic impact, financial feasibility, and social cost analysis, making it an essential tool for policymakers and investors in sustainable transport.
